We are always looking for gently used furniture and household items. If you have furniture or household items that you no longer need, take advantage of our furniture removal service. It’s cost effective plus you get a tax deductible receipt for the furniture we pick up.

Is the item in good condition?
All items MUST be in good, usable condition – free from stains, tears, odors or major damage. If you feel comfortable giving items away to a family member or friend in it’s current condition, we will most likely accept it.

Is the piece free-standing, shorter than 6ft, and does not require major assembly/disassembly?
In the majority of cases, our clients are moving into smaller apartments. Many also do not own tools. We want to make it as easy as possible for them to move in, set up, and get back on their feet with furniture that will fit their units and that doesn’t require complicated assembly.

Is it something our families need?
While we’d love to accept all your items, our mission is to provide our clients with the essential items needed to create a home. This includes chairs, tables, sofas, dressers, and housewares.

  • Beds. We accept gently-used mattresses (free of stains or tears), box spring, and metal castor rails that allow beds to be elevated from the ground; Twin, Double or Queen size

  • Flat-screen TVs of any size
  • Tube style TVs (screen must be no larger than 26 inches)
  • DVD/VCR Players
  • Small stereos & radios

  • Small kitchen appliances (e.g. toasters, blenders, coffee makers, microwave etc.)
